We hear about it all the time throughout the year, "remove your valuable items from your vehicle. We read about it in the paper, we hear about it from friends and yes, some of us have been victims of theft from our own vehicles. Well there is no better time like the present to heed this warning now that the holiday season is upon us. Let's face it, the economy does not have to be bad for someone to break into your vehicle. Car break ins dont just happen in "bad" neighborhoods either. If a thief sees something and wants it, it only takes a few minutes for them to take it. Alwatys take precautions to keep from becoming victim.

You may want to make sure that your doors are locked and all items have been removed from the car when parked. Never leave your keys in the vehicle or on your vehicle in a "secret hiding place". If you are out shopping, don't make trips back and forth to your vehicle to store items. Park in well lit areas at night and aways be aware of your surroundings at all times.

Keep in mind that you should never leave your LAPTOPS, GPS, CELL PHONES or I-PODS in your vehicles, these items are the most common items stolen. By thinking that you can just put these in your trunk, you should think again! Most thieves will break your window and open the trunk release, to see what goodies await them there. Here at Bullseye Auto Glass, we have replaced vehicle windows for cars broken into for a music CD and a tablet of paper.

Remember, your safety should always come first, and taking precautions helps to ensure it! Don't give someone a free Christmas by being negligent.
